Principal's Message

Gloria Waite, Principal

Welcome, Foster Families!

Welcome to another exciting year at Foster Elementary School! I am honored and grateful to serve as the proud Principal of Foster Elementary and am thrilled to begin my third year as part of this incredible school community.

As we launch the 2026–2027 school year, our theme, "Be the Change," serves as a reminder that each of us has the power to make a positive impact through our actions, attitudes, and commitment to excellence. Together, we will inspire our students to lead, learn, and grow as they strive to reach their fullest potential.

Being a Foster Eagle has shown me the true meaning of a community school. Our dedicated faculty and staff, supportive families, community partners, business and faith leaders, and volunteers all work together with a shared purpose to provide the very best opportunities for our students. This collective commitment creates an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

At Foster Elementary, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. We are committed to fostering a culture of academic excellence, positive relationships, and student ownership, ensuring that every Eagle has the opportunity to soar.

Thank you for your partnership and trust. I look forward to another remarkable year of learning, growth, and success as we continue to Be the Change for our students, our school, and our community.

Soar Eagles!

Fruit and Vegetable Program

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program provides funding to participating schools so they can provide a variety of free fresh fruits and vegetables to children throughout the school day. It is an effective and creative way to introduce fresh fruits and vegetables as healthy snack options.
