Welcome to Hugo Schmidt Elementary, home of the Sailors! I have the privilege to be the principal at Schmidt Elementary. At Schmidt Elementary we believe in hard work and best effort! Our students are encouraged to take an active role in their learning, demonstrate kindness, and support one another each day. We strive to create a positive learning environment so all students can succeed. I look forward to a great year ahead and invite you to be an active part of our school community.

Students at Schmidt have opportunities to earn various rewards for attendance, behavior, academics and more! Students will earn SAILOR Dollars to use for shopping at the PBIS store and to participate in school-wide events.
